The lush, forested mountains on the Pacific side of Panama produce the sumptuous coffee known as Panama Arkapal Estate. Surrounding the landscape, Panama’s highest point, Volcan Baru, rises to 11,450 feet. As a result of this topography, coffee farms nestled in the Boquette Valley of Chiriqui Province experience a mild climate and abundant rainfall. Most farms are medium-sized with soil and microclimates that will produce a variety of coffee profiles. The coffee is wet-processed upon harvesting.
